Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Timothy Leary has been seen sulking about for the duration of his stay in the cave. An outcast from the other tinsels, and not even able to take their surname, he wanders from group to group to find even one place that he can fit in and be himself. Due to his eccentric nature of being far-off in his expressions and talking to the trees and the air around him, many dragons are simply put off by him and are quite frightened as well. He doesn't understand how crazy he seems. Despite being rejected by all of the dragons in the cave, many children of nearby villages find him very interesting when he comes poking around. They find him friendly and charming and love to take rides on him. Despite the love he receives from the human children, they could never fill the lonely hole within his heart from the lack of dragon communication.
