Ice Dragons are fierce predators who hunt using their extremely cold breath. The breath of an ice dragon can freeze its prey solid in seconds. The body of an ice dragon is so cold that icicles will form along its skin no matter the outside temperature.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Asasco bears more scars than most of his kind. This is neither due to him hunting huge prey too much for him to handle nor to a tendency to pick fights with dragons out of his league. Asasco is a capable hunter and rather sociable, much more likely to break up fights between clan mates with his ice breath than participating. No, his scars are all the fault of his mate Itchy, a very clumsy Wyvern with very, very sharp claws. It's a good thing, he really doesn't mind how he looks and that his own cold magic effectively numbs any pain he might feel. He often spends time with Itchy's best friend Lynx, the two of them shaking their heads and laughing at their clan mates silly wimpyness that makes them avoid one of the friendliest dragonesses they know, just because they are afraid of a few scratches.
