Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It is very dark in color, but its eyes glow brightly.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

User Description

Engaging Chevrons does many things with pomp and ceremony. Though exciting the first or second time, if he does that any more, the other dragons just get bored. He doesn't have to march strangely every time he goes on a hunt or write every detail of his morning in the logbook, but he does all of that. His colleagues think Engaging Chevrons behaves like this to stall so he wouldn't have so many daily tasks to do.
