Thunder Dragons are the masters of electricity. Their wings gather energy as they soar through the clouds, and when they clap their wings together they can create devastating arcs of lightning. They can stay airborne nearly indefinitely, landing only to sleep and breed; they catch their prey from the air and take moisture from the clouds. A thunder dragon’s roar is considered to be an omen of misfortune.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

The Falling Misfortune... when you hear such a name you would expect it to mean that all sorts of trouble fall on her unfortunate enemies... actually, it is not so. And the only person ever to have trouble with her—is an old wizard who found her in the mountains with a broken wing. Besides him, the troubles, Filicia brings, fall exactly upon herself! So elegant in the air, she seems to be too clumsy to walk on the ground. And every time she comes down to  see her wizard-friend, she either sets his fence on fire, or kills all fish in the little pond with a spontaneous lightening, or gets the knights from a nearby castle chase her (which forces the wizard to cure the injured knights, and to calm down the offended dragoness). The old wizard sighs and smiles, when he sees her gliding in the sky: the magic of beauty and youth is the magic people will never learn to control.
