Frilled Dragons are smaller than most other breeds, but when threatened, they stretch out their wings and frills to appear larger. They generally do not like to fight and prefer hiding to confrontation. Frilled dragons live in small groups and often band together to scare off potential threats. Males also use their frills as a way to attract mates, with those displaying the “best” frills being more likely to breed.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

As first and oldest dragon of the clan Kanale is considered leader of his group of dragons. He is a kind dragon that has made friends with most of the dragons in his group. The ones that he isn't friends with are the ones that are always getting in trouble or the ones that won't speak a word to dragons that they haven't known all their lives, so he makes a point of spending time with the hatchlings twice and occasionally three times a week. All of the dragons that came 10 dragons after him know him as Grandpa Kankan, and will play with him like he is a gym, sliding down his tail and playing with his frills. He makes the perfect play toy and enjoys it too, laughing and occasionally picking up a hatchling and throwing it in the air for a pre-fly and catches it before it can hit the ground. A great role model for the hatchlings to grow up and want to be when they become old enough.
