White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Aesklepios, like his mentor Maharani Sarasvati, is a scholarly dragon, but he specializes in medical knowledge and magic. Most white dragons are healers, true, but Aesklepios (taking his name from the Greek God of medicine, of course), is particularly gifted at the art. Centuries of study have made him a brilliant doctor and surgeon, even without taking into account his powerful magic—using his talons as scalpels and stitching tools, he can perform even the most delicate surgical operations. However, he is somewhat absentminded with respect to other, less interesting topics, and Sarasvati has been known to keep a careful eye on him to ensure that he eats and sleeps on a reasonably regular schedule.
