Kingcrownes are a mysterious and proud species, possessing some of the most beautiful and reflective scales of all dragons. Despite this, what is sought after most is not their scales, but the silk-like hairs that grow along their head, neck, and elbows. The hairs themselves have a magical shine, and are thought to have powerful healing properties when used in potions. The hairs of a Kingcrowne are even believed to bring good fortune to those who possess them. Though it is obvious that these dragons possess magical abilities, it is still not entirely clear what they are fully capable of. Most of a Kingcrowne’s time is spent grooming itself, keeping its scales and fur in top condition.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Meissa Kobaya is an extremely quiet, shy dragon around strangers, never really having much to say and rarely chiming into conversations; however, this immediately changes when he's around his friends, as he suddenly becomes loud and outgoing, swearing every other word and constantly laughing. It's hard to change his mind, more often than not—he's got an obnoxiously strong conviction to his beliefs, even if they're wrong, a trait that lends itself to his slight god complex. His one-track mind and passive-aggressiveness makes any dragon that criticizes him an immediate target to his vast web of gossip.

Surprisingly, his mess of a personality has still landed him a best friend, a Red-finned Tidal Dragon called Cyetis—unsurprisingly, though, Cyetis is just as much of a mess as Meissa is. The two of them can gossip for hours, and anyone who sees them together scheming knows that some dragon is in for a storm of drama that they could've never expected.
