Silver Dragons are arguably one of the most beautiful types of dragons. They live in high altitude habitats such as mountains. Silver females eat meat only when a male dragon brings it to them as part of courtship, though they are typically highly-independent. They possess an almost magical aura that lights up any place they are in, and are looked upon with awe by humans and animals alike.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Found during a vacation to the icy north, it could be said that Kiaka was born with snow in her veins. Winter is her favorite time of the year, although she doesn't begrudge the flowers for wanting a time to blossom. Kind to a fault, she makes sure that everyone in the clan feels accepted and special, often growing irate when any of the other dragons don't make this task any easier. There is a soft spot in her heart for Theravada, despite his intolerance for her favorite season. Oftentimes she can be found by his burrow, talking philosophy with him and attempting to coax him out for a bit of social time with the others.
