Paper Dragons are not truly living creatures. They are pieces of parchment enchanted by magic, and as such, are very vulnerable to fire. However, they behave almost like dragons. The only place where their behavior differs is breeding: paper dragons cannot breed.

Oragamiex lives in the Voiceless Desert, often spending time near the Aortic River. It likes to make paper from papyrus to incorporate into its body, but it doesn't dare get close enough to the water to harvest the plants. To get papyrus, it often flies messages for those capable of harvesting the plants—it is very reliable, too: the predatory animals of the Voiceless Desert have no interest in eating paper. Going out of the desert is risky for it, though, because rain could kill it. Origamiex is happiest when sitting in its cave, processing papyrus.
