Welcome to Dragon Cave! Dragon Cave is an online adoptables game. Collect eggs, raise them to adulthood, and then breed them to create interesting lineages. New dragons are added regularly!
Gemshard Dragons are small, gregarious, expressive easterns, living in large clans high in the jungle canopy. Their bodies are covered in tiny, gem-like scales that shimmer in direct light, and each dragon has a unique pattern of markings on the forked spade of its tail. Though Gemshard Easterns cannot fly, they often leap from springy branches high into the sky on sunny days and perform acrobatic spins and twirls to entertain themselves. When the weather turns foul, they pile up together on sturdy tree limbs and interlock the forks of their tails with others to keep warm and dry.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
Blunt by nature and sociable by heart, Calamity's days are dedicated to helping others, whether doling out advice or settling disputes. As such, she spends most of her time around her nest, so as to be easily found. Although generally laid back among her friends, she will take responsibility for them when they go wrong. Because of this, and her knack for always having miscellaneous necessities on hand, Calamity is jokingly referred to as 'mother' by her friends.
During her free time, Calamity loves swimming. Fascinated by water, there's nothing she enjoys more than anchoring herself by her forked tail and allowing the current to caress her. She also keeps several ponds of fish around her nest, and proudly shows them to anyone who asks.
While friendly with most, Calamity feels most at home with her mate, Trust, annoying her brother, Ichabod, or adventuring with the quiet Dusty, the loquacious Eros, and the mischievous Coronus.
