Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Himaja Nuria was found by the human Ember Nuria right after Ember had found the egg of Holly Nuria. Ember had been cooking for the annual Christmas feast, and was taking some cookies out of the oven, when she stumbled on something. Dropping the cookies on the table, Ember looked down and saw a colorful egg covered in a light layer of snow. She brought the egg to her basket of holly, where the egg of Holly Nuria was laying, and placed it there gently. When the egg hatched, Ember named the hatchling "Himaja", meaning "snow". Himaja indeed loved the snow, and as a hatchling he would fly around energetically, catching snowflakes on his tongue. When the winter season ended and the snow melted away, Himaja would disappear with Holly, Minze, Seraphina, and Oriata, and would return again in November. It is rumored that he goes to the point of the mountain of Elgar, but only Nutaaq, Bourkan, and Rai have been there, and they never say a word.
