Storm Dragons are the masters of the skies. They are excellent fliers and land only to rest and eat. In addition, they have full control of the weather. They are very hot-tempered and easily angered. They will attack any human that bothers them, conjuring strong winds and dangerous lightning.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Kaylen is a complete and utter jerk. Really.

He snobs anyone he deems too unworthy of his attention (meaning those older than him and younger than him. It's quite confusing, really) and will challenge anyone that he sees worthy enough to spar with him. He has his own list for everyone, those on the FAR-TO-BOTHERSOME-TO-NOTICE list, the KEEP-YOUR-EYES-ON-THESE list, and the NEUTRAL list, though he prefers to keep his keeper on his HUMAN-I'M-NOT-ALLOWED-TO-ELECTROCUTE list.

Despite this, he does take serious care for his family, no matter how uncool he finds them. He soars through the skies, keeping watch for danger (and causing a storm here and there).
