Striped Dragons come in a dazzling array of colors complemented by an intricate pattern of stripes. These bright colors and patterns help attract their favorite food, insects. Because their prey is so tiny, striped dragons must spend a large portion of their day eating. The color of the offspring is usually determined by the dragon’s mate.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

RiverAubrus is a Striped dragon, and in his opinion, one of the most handsome dragons in the Cave. He spends his days basking in the sun, grooming himself so that his scales gleam in the light, and searching for brightly colored insects to eat, which, in his opinion, will make his scales more lustrous. During the evening he stalks around the family cave and flirts with the female dragons, even having the nerve to approach Rose Satin the Red bully. He considered the bruises he received a token of her appreciation. Most of the females in his cave (including his owner, whose paw he asked in marriage because "he found her beautiful", despite her "lack of wings") either vanish or snarl when he appears, while others find it hilarious and will often pretend to respond to his overtures, only to let him down with a bump at the end.
