Dragons are creatures with nearly unlimited life spans. They can survive for long periods of time, and no one has found a dragon that has died of old age. Adolescence is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Once they hit adolescence, hatchlings change quickly, maturing to their full forms in only 2 years.

Dragons don’t communicate with each other verbally, but they will growl to scare off predators and frighten prey. Young dragons will emit an extremely high-pitched squeal when they are frightened. To communicate, they use telepathy with each other and to speak to other creatures.

Silver dragons are arguably one of the most beautiful types of dragons. They live in high altitude habitats such as mountains. Male silver dragons hunt and eat meat. While not as beautiful or radiant as females, silver males possess better physical attributes, such as strength.

Justeen is the stereotype of a medieval knight in dragon form. Noble, valiant, courteous, fair... and rather proud. He generally has a good nature, but he is completely intolerant of what he feels are "negative influences," which means everything from selfishness down to laziness and simple mischievousness. He particularly dislikes the mint dragon LittleEvil, who seems to delight in annoying him at every possible opportunity. He also has a bad habit of falling in love a little too easily, which along with his slightly superior attitude explains why he can't stay with a female.
