Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It’s extremely curious and seems to enjoy exploring the area around it.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

When it comes to hatchlings, Lamenza is a big softie, so it was no surprise when one day he returned to the cave with a newly hatched purple close behind. Hitagi has since decided that Lamenza is her older brother. And oh, how she loves her older brother. It just happens that she expresses this love in a possessive, rather stalkerish way. Despite her being a hatchling and thus unable to cause much real harm, several dragons are thoroughly creeped out by her behaviour.
