Vampire Dragons are members of the undead. They sustain themselves by drinking the blood of others. It is said that they are only “alive” at night, and seem dead or asleep during the day, as they cannot endure sunlight for long periods of time. Vampire Dragons can only reproduce by changing the eggs of other dragons, puncturing the shell with their fangs and injecting venom that kills the baby inside.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Time Forgotten One is a very lonely dragon.

The oldest in the cave, he is often distant and distracted; even the other Vampire Dragons cannot get through to him. It is said that he is waiting for someone, and that long ago he fought in a war alongside other dragons, his only friends, who have long since left this mortal world. Sometimes, he simply stands still for days, gazing into the distance. Those who have seen Time Forgotten One when he is in this state say that there was a strong sense that he would have been crying if only he could.

This mysterious vampire is also a member of the Vocaloid clan of singing dragons, and his song is full of the loneliness and sorrow which fills his soul. He is friends, of a sort, with Thousand-Year Solo, another lonely Vampire Dragon who shares much in common with him.
