Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It hatched with fins instead of legs and did not seem to react well to freshwater, so you relocated it to the nearest ocean.

Its dorsal fin has grown larger, and it rarely surfaces anymore. It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Lochya has discovered something in the clan cave that no other dragon has seen: an underground network of both fresh and salt water streams. She often slips away from her pool in the main cave to explore the tunnels below. Lochya has come across several species of eyeless fish in the rivers, as well as some strange animal life that have no pigment, as well as no eyes. Her secret place, however, was one day intruded upon by Aquafere, when the young water dragon, wondering where Lochya went during those long hours of the day, followed her. Lochya forgave Aquafere over time, and now the two of them are best friends.
