Welcome to Dragon Cave! Dragon Cave is an online adoptables game. Collect eggs, raise them to adulthood, and then breed them to create interesting lineages. New dragons are added regularly!
Serrati Wyverns are a fierce breed of dragon typically found in volcanic areas or in desert scrubland. With their keen vision, these fearsome predators can pick out well-camouflauged prey from the slightest movement. They are named for the double rows of serrated teeth that line their beaks, which allow these wyverns to maintain an unbreakable grip on prey while they tear into their target with deadly hooked claws. Though these dragons are combative with nearly everything, they are surprisingly well-mannered when raising their offspring in communal nests. Males, however, tend to be chased off as soon as eggs are laid.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
Jehnk and Kunahi are just two among many, part of the seemingly-mandatory hoard of minions each would-be conqueror of Evergreen Weyr accumulates as part of their plan for defeating the weyr. Both know they're expendable—just two more warm bodies to distract the weyr's red dragon while Lyrcarn carries out his plans—but each feels differently about this fate. Jehnk's hatred for non-seragammas (he considers Lyrcarn an honorary member of the breed) outweighs any instinct for self-preservation. He doesn't care if he dies, as long as he accounts for a decent number of his enemies first—weyr residents or otherwise.
