Blacktip Dragons are a small, shore-dwelling breed that tend to nest on sheer ocean side cliffs. They live in groups under a dominant female, who prevents her subordinates from breeding. During the mating season, a group of Blacktips can be very noisy and smelly indeed; males produce a distinctive musky odor and loud, low-pitched honking noises in an attempt to woo the alpha female.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Once, an organised team of lawbreakers were terrorising Nworset, their actions linked to thefts all across the city. JEyDI joined the organisation, openly telling them, "The force is with me." The other rogues assumed she was waxing poetic about some supernatural entity or magical power, and paid no mind to the strange statement so long as she did her duty. And duty she did—she was soon honking before OJI0j , the mastermind in charge of the group. But ultimately, the force really was with her—the Nworset police force. JEyDI was an undercover agent who infiltrated the criminal group, identified the members, and informed the bust.

JEyDI's identity is known, so now she cannot work as an undercover agent anymore, but she still likes law and order. She works as a manager for the police, and the force is still with her (or, perhaps, she's still with the force).
