Feisty and energetic, Whiptail Dragons pride themselves on their speed and agility. It is not unusual to see several whiptails racing each other. Though fragile, they can easily evade attacks with their superior speed, and often use their long tails as a weapon, giving rise to their name.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Fu-jin appeared one day out of nowhere at edwardelricfreak's cave. All anyone knew was that shortly before her arrival, there had been quite a gust blowing into the mouth of the cave, which Jariin, the guardian dragon, had to shield against so everyone wouldn't be blown away. Fu-jin, when running, sometimes creates a whirlwind from her wings and tail, completely by accident.
