Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Rohana was lost as a hatchling, tied to a tree and abandoned, the dragon equivalent of a stray. The other dragons in this cave took her in, providing her shelter and reassurance in a trying time, and when she was ready, they also provided guidance and new experiences. She's very grateful to them for this, and thus often helps out in any way that she can. She particularly loves helping with the eggs and hatchlings, guiding them as she was guided. Many have looked up to her because of this, and she's very well liked in the cave. She's also very submissive, though, for a black dragon, and is working hard at training and learning what it means to be a warrior.
