Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Silver, as he insists on being known, is one of the least pretentious tinsels one could ever hope to meet.  He doesn't like it when other dragons insist on treating him differently just because he's shiny, as he'd rather be remembered for what he does than how he looks.  To that end, he sets out every winter to do as many good deeds as possible (to live up to his holiday dragon heritage).  Silver will clear away snow or deliver a freshly-caught deer and then fly away before he can even be thanked, as he's modest enough not to need the recognition.
