Silver Dragons are arguably one of the most beautiful types of dragons. They live in high altitude habitats such as mountains. Male Silvers hunt and eat meat. While not as beautiful or radiant as females, silver males possess better physical attributes, such as strength.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Tarelion Mithril was born in a cave high up in the mountains. No one knew where his egg has come from. Some believed it fell from the sky. Tarelion himself believes that too. He loves to look at the stars at night, to see their refection in his scales, and he wonders if he came from the stars. Thus the Elves gave him his name, Tarelion means 'high born of the stars' and Mithril is the shining silver-like metal that the Elves value above everything else.

The logical choice of a companion for Tarelion was Zephyra Skydragon, the one dragon of all the dragons in the land, who could fly closest to the stars that they both love so much.
