Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It’s very light and enjoys bouncing all around.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Bobbing Along has always wished to be a type of water dragon. He would especially like to be able to sing a song at the bottom of the beautiful briny sea—maybe he should have been a deep sea dragon! There could be nothing more serene than gliding far beneath the rolling tide, he figures. Seeing as he is a BALLOON dragon however, he admits that if he ever did manage to get down there, the octopuses, flounders, and cod would probably think him an odd sort of fellow, but he thinks it would all be rather fun.
