Hellfire Wyverns are so named for their foul tempers and fiery visages. Their social structure places all females above all males, due to superior physical characteristics and violent dispositions. Forced subservience of the males causes them to become vicious, petty, antisocial, and passive-aggressive compared to the aggressive and social females. However, orphaned hatchlings raised by foster parents of another species can develop surprisingly even tempers and mellow dispositions, proving that their defining unpleasant nature is, in fact, a learned behavior.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Raegina's mother wanted her daughter to be prim and proper, to be a lady rather than a warrior. But of course, Raegina ignored all of her attempts to change her. One day while out training with a friend, she heard the cries of a young hatchling. She bested the ogres attempting to claim the hatchling's life, but the hatchling turned out to be a princess. The hatchling's father was so relieved that Raegina rescued his daughter that he asked her to be his queen. Her vain mother, who only saw the king's immense horde full of more riches than anyone can imagine, insisted that her daughter accept, but Raegina only had eyes for one dragon. He was a commoner, with only a few coins to his name, but she loved him anyway. They made plans to escape together, which she foolishly told the princess. The young hatchling, believing she was doing the right thing, in turn told Raegina's mother. As Raegina watched her beau die at her mother's claws, she vowed that she would get revenge.
