Silver Dragons are arguably one of the most beautiful types of dragons. They live in high altitude habitats such as mountains. Male Silvers hunt and eat meat. While not as beautiful or radiant as females, silver males possess better physical attributes, such as strength.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

At the very top of the tallest mountain in the Sleeping Mountains, there is a cave; in that cave is Rebel. Few know of his existence and even less have seen him. Rebel is the silent ruler of the archipelago, yet he rarely enforces his power. He sat alone at in his little cave at the top of that great mountain with little interest to the affairs of the dragons below. Till one day, a fair dragon of noble heritage collapsed at the mouth of his cave. She had lost her way in the blinding snow. Rebel nursed her back to health and the beautiful dragon told Rebel of the world beyond his mountain. Rebel became fascinated with the land he ruled over for the first time, and cared what happened to the dragons in it. Now, they sit together, watching over the many dragons as the king and queen of Kitsune's Archipelago.
