Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It perfectly depicts spring weather.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Kavvi is a hot headed little chick. She is always breaking rules and can't seem to decide on how she is going to benefit her clan. She has a strong temper and when it boils over you don't want to be within ten miles of her. Whenever Kavvi gets the chance she pouts her way through her mistakes so she doesn't get in as much trouble. Although she has a very bad temper and very rarely do the full grown dragons want to be around her, she lusts for knowledge. Kavvi would love to know all the things that the other older dragons know, and what it would feel like to be a full grown adult dragon, and do things that they have the power to do that she cant do in her "stuck in the middle" form. She loves to tease the adults about her form. Through her pigheadedness and her other personality issues she makes a good teacher becoming friends with the new hatchlings and watching and teaching them to cope with their tiny bodies until they have grown into the adult she sometimes wishes she could become.
