White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Pantalimon is just like his namesake Pantalaimon from The Golden Compass. He is a typical youth; he will suggest a bold and risky scheme, then, once seeing the consequences that can and will follow, he backs out, saying 'this isn't such a good idea.' Pantalimon is surprisingly unspoiled and not vain, despite the fact that his mother Winterwyte is the leader of the Towa clan. Pantalimon is good friends with Tazzin, a purple dragon who is a little younger than him. Pantalimon has a hot head, and a strong sense of justice. He is an easy dragon to get along with, but once his temper flares, there is no stopping him, making him a formidable opponent.
