Spotted Greenwings are relatively small nocturnal dragons. Easily recognizable by the fleshy appendages growing off of their head and rump, they are most commonly seen in forests at night, leaping and soaring from tree to tree. While generally social, spotted greenwings are very quiet and rarely make any sort of vocalization. Their bodies are unusually warm to the touch, though they are unable to breathe fire. Greenwings are voracious feeders and will consume nearly any living thing that they can fit in their mouths.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Like many other Spotted Greenwing dragons, Nighttime Wing is nocturnal and very quiet. He does not often communicate with other dragons but will communicate sometimes with his owner. Nighttime Wing shows great respect for those older than him, especially if they are females. Nighttime Wing loves to eat more than anything and eats probably the most of any other dragon around him. He also loves flying and often keeps to himself when he does fly.

Nighttime Wing is also mated to True Trust, greatly respects her strong personality, and is father to Trust of the Promised Land.
