White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Iraaw had always believed himself to be largely impervious to cold and harsh weather, so he jumped at the chance to become healer on a rescue team that patrolled a land so far north that there were months the sun never rose above the horizon. He soon learned that while, yes, cold didn't do much to harm him physically, the lack of sunlight and warmth had a detrimental effect on his mood. Most days, Iraaw would gladly trade in his staff for a week on the beach, but his conscience won't let him. The area is so popular with young, reckless dragons trying to prove themselves that even a day's vacation could result in some poor soul's death, so Iraaw grits his teeth and carries on.
