Blacktip Dragons are a small, shore-dwelling breed that tend to nest on sheer ocean side cliffs. They live in groups under a dominant female, who prevents her subordinates from breeding. During the mating season, a group of Blacktips can be very noisy and smelly indeed; males produce a distinctive musky odor and loud, low-pitched honking noises in an attempt to woo the alpha female.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Nelron of the Black-Cap is a Blacktip dragon who lives with a group of her own species. Her home is a collection of rugged, imposing cliffs that face "The Dreaming Sea", a vast expanse of water which is seemingly impossible to cross, and the edges of the " Dragon's Teeth", the longest and tallest mountain range which lies in the land of HeroHorse. Nelron of the Black-Cap is not a purebred Blacktip dragon. Her father was a Black Capped Teimarr and she has inherited quite a social disposition from him, as well as a curious tendency to search rockpools and similar structures in the hope of discovering a fish or two.

Nelron of the Black-Cap is a friendly dragon. She tends to be nicer towards males than females, but she is far less aggressive towards those of the same gender than most other female Blacktip dragons.
