Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Dame de L'or is a French name for 'Lady of Gold'. Dame de L'or is shiny like gold with green tinsel as a crown and spiraling up her tail. Her wings are magnificent and large but she is just an ordinary dragon. Rare or not she is valuable and delicate and very emotional. A ferocious dragon she is not, nor a blood thirsty monster or a firebreathing beast. A gentle heart takes the place of all the evil and harm a dragon would possess in a creative mind's imagination.
