Striped Dragons come in a dazzling array of colors complemented by an intricate pattern of stripes. These bright colors and patterns help attract their favorite food, insects. Because their prey is so tiny, striped dragons must spend a large portion of their day eating. The color of the offspring is usually determined by the dragon’s mate.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Bee Biter is so named because as a hatchling she would disregard the easier prey of beetles, flies, grasshoppers and so on in favor of stinging insects, with her favorite being bumble bees. Needless to say, being a clumsy hatchling she got stung more than once in her youth, but now that she is an adult her tough scales and hide prevent any stings on the outside of her body. Her mouth, on the other hand, is still vulnerable, and whenever those in her clan hear her utter a surprised bellow, they can usually guess what has happened. Despite these stings, Bee Biter just cannot give up her favorite prey, and whenever one comes near she snaps it up as eagerly as she did when she was a hatchling.
