Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Found as a sick hatchling near a pile of eggs, Dark Roland Dramatico's story is not one of luxury or fame.  He was found lying in a pool of his own tears.  His mother had long forgotten about him as he had the scent of human about him.  His mistress carried him out of that wretched cave to a veterinary hospital where doctors had no clue how to treat him.  They released him from care telling his mistress that there was nothing they could do.  She did what any loving mother would.  She kept Roland in her basement and fed him three times a day for as long as she could.  While Roland's mistress has long since passed, her tireless efforts ensured Dark Roland Dramatico's survival.  To this day he wanders the earth in search of his mistress, never knowing that he will not find what he seeks.
