When Water Dragons mature, they lose the ability to survive on land, entering the water permanently. They are adept swimmers and eat whatever fish are in the lake they live in. They tend to inhabit the same lake for their entire lives, although a few live in the ocean and swim all over the world.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Majestic Sea Knight is a water dragon. He lives with the other 'Majestic Sea' water dragons in a lake in the eastern part of his clan's territory. He is very gallant and handsome, and his swimming skills are nearly flawless. Considering himself the guardian of his lake, he will constantly swim near the edge of the water, staring into the foggy swampland and looking for intruders. He is also the lake's sentry, and he is often the first one to find and help injured or crippled dragons that swim up the shallow river that connects his lake to the ocean. He is willing to risk his life for his lake's sake, and many of the females of his clan find this admirable, so he is quite popular and he has many potential mates.
