Geode Dragons are closely related to Stone dragons. They are covered in a hard stone-like material as well as beautiful crystal. Their wings are entirely useless for flight, but they help attract mates. The dragons with the most brilliant and colorful crystals are more likely to mate.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

When Chrystallix hatched, his parents were quite surprised to see a little hatchling that was so different from themselves. Chrystallix himself didn't really notice, he just thought that all Stone hatchlings looked like this. Therefore he feared he would loose his crystals when growing up, and so he wanted to be frozen. Luckily, some other dragons had heard about Geode dragons like Chrystallix so they convinced him he was quite ok. So now Chrystallix is proud of what he is. And when his parents produced a next egg and it turned out to be a Geode as well, the whole family was quite happy, and so was their scrollkeeper.

Chrystallix likes to be out in the sunlight, where his crystals become almost too bright to watch. And one day, he discovered he could use his wings to focus sunlight and create fire. That feat earned him a lot of respect from the other dragons in the cave.
