Storm Dragons are the masters of the skies. They are excellent fliers and land only to rest and eat. In addition, they have full control of the weather. They are very hot-tempered and easily angered. They will attack any human that bothers them, conjuring strong winds and dangerous lightning.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Liada grew up with Vennie and Halldur and they ended up staying best friends through their maturation. The friends are always in some kind of trouble, whether it's running away to meet other dragons not in their clan, to messing around with old nameless dragons that aren't in a clan anymore. Liada specializes in their escape route, if they ever are in a pinch with the other dragons of the clan. Her power over the weather will render any dragon without her abilities helpless. Liada will conjure up a huge wind storm so the dragons that she is in trouble with can't do anything but watch her and her friends escape. Vennie grabbing around her with her tail and Halldur following being the mountain that he is they make a good threesome. Liada is criticized and hated among the older dragons outside of the clan, but the younger dragons love her in every way and she plays it up to her advantage. No male dragon has ever been able to resist Liada and she likes it!
