White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

With Orlem and Faylarna for role models, it was only natural that Kazara would grow up to want to save the world, one injured dragon at a time.  It was also natural that she'd set her sights high, and she finally decided to seek out her father's former weyr, Highrock, which he'd finally given up on as being functionally dead some time ago.  The current leader of Highrock, Olinbar, had a strictly enforced policy of isolation, and killed any intruders, but decided to spare Kazara because she was a healer, and thus clearly no threat.  Kazara has gradually been working to befriend Olinbar and bring Highrock back from the brink of oblivion, and is finally starting to see signs that her adopted weyr might just have a future after all.
