Cheese Dragons are not actually alive. They are enchanted items of food that act almost identically to dragons. They have no need to eat, but they must “live” in humid environments or they will dry out and harden.

Kominion is a strange creature indeed, but no one seems to mind its presence in the cave. While the hatchlings seem enthralled with the odd texture of the "skin" of this strange beast, thankfully none have shown any interest in nibbling on it! The holes in its winglike appendages make it impossible for flight to take place, but Kominion doesn't seem bothered in the least—in fact, no one can quite understand how its mind works, if it in fact HAS a mind at all.

Much like Orifold, Kominion is treated as a rare and unusual trinket that the pack guards and keeps safe within its domain—yet another example of the strange but undeniable social structure that this large and disparate group has attained.
