Magma Dragons are capable of withstanding the intense temperatures of their element. They live in volcanic regions, their bodies coated in the red hot magma which clings to their scales. They must leave the lava fields in order to hunt, although they require surprisingly little food to sustain their lumbering mass.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Burnin Up is quite the hothead in most situations. The biggest thing that piques his anger is that one ceremony every two weeks when he is forced to gather together with the Thunder and Ice dragons of the cave to attempt to summon the Guardian of Nature. Burnin Up absolutely despises this day because he suspects that the other two species believe that they are more powerful than he and his species are. Therefore, when the summon is about to occur, he turns up his nose and has no part in it whatsoever. But to everyone else, it's a wonder why no Guardian of Nature dragons have appeared in the cave because they have no idea of Burnin Up's stubbornness.
