Black Tea Dragons have small scent glands on the underside of their wing arm that release a pleasant scent. Though many creatures enjoy being in the vicinity of Black Tea dragons, the scent is intended to draw in swarms of butterflies. Though Black Tea dragons are full sized dragons, these insects are the mainstay of their diet.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Masala Chai is named after the aromatic tea blend he smells of, a flavored tea made by brewing black tea leaves with a mixture of aromatic spices and herbs. Masala Chai is a gentle and social dragon who loves the company of other dragons and creatures. Even though he knows the main reason most stick around is because of how he smells, he has made many close friends.

One of his favorite pastimes when he is alone is to lie down in a cozy patch of sunlight and daydream. Masala Chai is very creative and often daydreams of going on adventures, and tends to find creative solutions to conflicts and problems that he comes across.

Masala Chai loves to help others, and if a friend gets sick, he will only leave their side to gather food, even hunting for meat if he has to, and to gather fresh water. His worrisome nature can be a little annoying at times, as he will constantly ask you if you need anything, but his heart is in the right place.

He lives in a forest grotto instead of a cave.
