Storm Dragons are the masters of the skies. They are excellent fliers and land only to rest and eat. In addition, they have full control of the weather. They are very hot-tempered and easily angered. They will attack any human that bothers them, conjuring strong winds and dangerous lightning.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Legend has it that this dragon got her unusual moniker through a deeply spiritual naming ritual. As a hatchling, her parents presented her to the Esteemed and Revered Supreme Chief Elder the Mighty and Loved (tm) to be officially named. In the middle of the ceremony, the chief was suddenly overcome with emotion and clutched his chest tightly, tears streaming down his face. Touched by this obvious outpouring of inspiration, the Local Scribe (tm) prompted the chief to enlighten them all with the new name. He did.

Sadly, she was the last dragon to be named by this particular Esteemed and Revered Supreme Chief Elder the Mighty and Loved (tm), for he passed away shortly thereafter from what most agree upon was the Calling of the Great Dragons of Old (tm). There are some heretics that claim that his death was due to cardiac arrest but said blasphemers are generally silenced and taken care of rather swiftly by the Brute Squad (trademark pending).
