Stone Dragons have a tough outer covering made of a stone-like material. They eat rocks, using the minerals they contain for nourishment and to keep up their stone outer shell. They rarely move, and are the heaviest of all types of dragons. Although they have wings, indicating flight ability, no one has ever seen a stone dragon flying.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Berlin Wall stands between two territories that used to be one, but for some reason, the humans divided it and added a border. Now they are called East-Bear-Land (and East People-Land) and West-Bear-Land. Some powerful humans decided no one is allowed to go from one territory to another, except many humans want to and that's apparently a bad thing, and something something... human affairs are very confusing, so she doesn't bother wondering. They hired her to stand at the most contested area of the border to ensure nobody emigrates. She does her job while internally shrugging—she doesn't mind standing in place all day, and she doesn't pick sides when it comes to humans. Many have successfully made it across the border (some of whom climbed her when she dozed off), and others died attempting. While the guard duty job has been safe for the past few years, there has been a lot of talk about killing Berlin Wall, and that makes her a little anxious.
