Nebula Dragons are nocturnal creatures. With the best eyesight to be found, they are often seen staring into space. Each dragon tends to observe a particular nebula and will eventually change their colors and patterns to match it. As the nebula changes over time, the dragon changes with it. The more intricate the design of the nebula, the better chance an individual has of attracting a mate. It is said that the markings on no two Nebula Dragons will be exactly the same.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

The night was cold and still. The moon shone bright in the clear sky, filled with stars as brilliant as diamond. The land was flat—it was a snowy plain, with a few chilled ponds scattered around. A dead tree or two grew up from the ground, their brittle branches holding up piles of snow. In the distance were mountains with their white-capped peaks. The night was filled with a serene silence.

Suddenly, what seemed like a piece of the night sky detached itself and flew amongst the stars. It would have been perfectly blended in, except it was green colored, like a nebula. Others soon followed, red, blue, purple, twirling with the green nebula dragon and creating beautiful displays of colorful flight. They danced among the stars, with no audience but the trees, and no light except the shining moon. During this time of the night was when Emerald Snow was at his happiest—when he was free to fly however he wanted, twirling with the others, underneath the brilliant night sky.
