Thunder Dragons are the masters of electricity. Their wings gather energy as they soar through the clouds, and when they clap their wings together they can create devastating arcs of lightning. They can stay airborne nearly indefinitely, landing only to sleep and breed; they catch their prey from the air and take moisture from the clouds. A thunder dragon’s roar is considered to be an omen of misfortune.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Boomers favorite pass-time is causing massive black-outs. This may seem counter-intuitive, seeing as electricity is light, but Boomer is clever enough to make it work in his favor. He believes that his roar is no ill omen, but he enjoys the fear that they cause in the humans below so he lets the belief persist. In order that the black-outs he causes have the most powerful effect he dives from high above to a village below, clapping his wings to create a white-flash of light and roaring, then using the wind and speed from his dive to effectively plunge the little villages into darkness. The torches inside are of course beyond his reach, but that doesn't really seem to bother him too much. Boomer likes watching the little fleshy two-legs scatter and wail at his approach. Once his trick is over he soars quietly back up into the clouds to find the next village to prank.
