Spitfires are a desert breed of dragon. Their dull brown bodies contrast with their brilliant turquoise markings, and they only blaze brighter when these dragons fight. Spitfires are notorious for their territorial natures, and the wing-edges of most are ripped and tattered before their first year is out. Spitfires are also noteworthy for their brilliant blue fire, which is used not for hunting or fighting, but rather for making glass caves from the sand, in which the dragons can soak up the sun.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Of course, as any other Spitfire Dragon would, he loves to frolic around in the sands of the desert, trying to find the perfect dune for his next glass cave for sunning. He will sometimes venture off to find materials to mix in with the sand, to give his glass multiple different colors. When he isn't out making glass caves, he takes care of the calmer hatchlings, as not to burn the more active hatchlings to a crisp. He has been seen digging holes for the more plant based hatchlings as to temporarily get rid of them. If he sees one of his glass caves intentionally destroyed or vandalized, he will track down the culprit and they would most likely be killed. If someone sat and watched one of his glass caves, they would see various creatures stop and look from a distance, as they recognize his signature and know what he would do if he saw a scratch or crack in his work.
