Nocturne Dragons are a strange breed. Whenever light strikes their bodies, they are frozen in whatever position they were in. This leaves them vulnerable and they rely on camouflage to keep themselves safe. They are often mistaken for statues when in this frozen state, but Nocturne dragons do not actually turn into stone. Rather, they merely idle until the sun goes down. At night, these dragons come to life, proving themselves to be powerful fliers, although little else is known about their true behavior.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Sly, Murray, and Bentley have known each other for as long as anyone can remember. Having grown up together, they have formed their own tight knit little clan. They are a band of mischievous troublemakers. Sly is the talent of their brotherhood. While he is neither incredibly smart nor strong, he is the only one of the three dragons who can fly. Its a talent that often comes in handy during their adventures. Sly isn't particularly large, he is agile, and he thinks well on his feet. He does all of the athletic activities his buddies are not able to do. They are tolerated by the Anu clan, save a certain electric female, as the team has some useful skills. That electric female is Carmelita, a member of the clan council. Sly is in love with the beautiful female, though little does Carmelita know. She's the law, he's a troublemaker. She's too busy trying to stop them to realize it. The clan has come to be known as the Band of Thieves, but they swear that they haven't stolen anything, yet.
