Valentine eggs are only seen once a year. Adults’ mating seasons are very short, usually spanning a few weeks in the mid-to-late winter. These dragons were once reputed to be omens of good luck in love.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

One of the oldest and most loved dragons in EG's Cave, Harrison's Hope has worked hard to gain a prestigious reputation. She was the second and final dragon of her breed to appear in the cave and resides around the Bazara Village. She and her close companion and adoptive sister, Miki Hinata, roam around the village spreading love to the people and dragons that thrive there.

Hope was named for the strange scuff marks on her scales that have been there since she was a hatchling which roughly spell out the word "HopE". The Bazara Village people saw this message as a good omen and vowed to never allow this dragon to come to any harm.

She has taken the silver tinsel dragon Jetset George Glimmer as her mate.
