Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Jasper is the fourteenth of the Natashina clan and is a quiet, inquisitive young dragon. She is close to Spikey, and knows how to look past the older dragon's gruff demeanor. Jasper prefers spending time in the cave with her mate Quaggmire, who shares her love of beautiful stones. She sees herself as one of the protectors of the hatchlings and teaches them the natural beauty of the earth. Jasper got her name from Quaggmire, who thought she was the most beautiful dragon in the lands. They are now mates and all the clan thinks that they are the perfect match.
