Red Dragons are similar to typical story book dragons. They shoot flames, can fly, etc. However, they aren’t evil creatures as depicted in myths and won’t go around raiding castles, killing knights, or kidnapping princesses. They live in a variety of habitats, from forests to coastlines to abandoned castles, usually in warm climates, and eat whatever living creatures they can find.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

As an egg Seon was neglected and passed from person to person before being cared for and hatching. This neglect, while not too detrimental, had one side effect on her. She stayed in the egg longer than she should have. As a result one wing of hers is deformed. This prevents her from being able to fly with other dragons, though from watching her she seems more content on the ground.<br/>She's rather easy going towards humans and some animals. She has a natural maternal instinct towards certain ones. This doesn't affect her diet in any way as it is the animal, not the species, that she bounds to. It's not unheard of to see her protecting a rabbit, or chicken, at her nest with the newest clutch of eggs, and eating a different one that she finds outside the cave. She has a rather special bond with Mounder.
